(A) A person buys something that sells for $30. Your commission from the sale is 50%, so you get a $15 kick-back (minus processing fees). Unfortunately that’s it. You won’t sell him another one. However, if you have a program you promote with a monthly fee, you will earn the normal commission rate, but instead of only once it will be each month. That is of course as long as they remain active.
This is one of the most overlooked areas to the game, and why so many people fail as affiliate marketers. Keep in mind there are other variables to add into this plan, but the point is you can start building a residual income and eventually just watch the money start to roll into your bank account. So if your goal is to sell 10 monthly commissions a month and you’re receiving $15 for each one, that’s $150 you put in your pocket.

Even though we wouldn’t consider this to be as beneficial as a monthly residual, it’s still important to utilize. Your goal is to have as many customers as possible by hitting each angle available. When you take advantage of the ones who have already purchased from you, it’s important to get them as lifetime customers. This way when a new release comes out or an updated report, the commissions will revert back to you.
