Nowadays, everyone wants to know how you can make money online, and thankfully for those people they don’t have to look very far before they find a few zillion ways. However, even if there are a zillion ways, do you really think they are all legit? They all work? They all are easy? I think not! In a lot of cases there are some major scams online, people simply looking at you with dollar signs in their eyes. They just see you as another person they can take advantage. On the other hand, there are a lot of businesses that are completely legit. They see you as a person, they want to get to know you, and they want to truly help you succeed and make the same money they are. These are the great people of the Internet. The teachers. I have been lucky quite a few times to meet people like this, Guru of sorts, willing to share their secrets to prosperity and they want nothing in return except to know you made it! So what are some of these ways? Well, listed below I have named a few.

Affiliate Marketing - Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses (merchants/advertisers) in which an affiliate (publisher) is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts.

Domain Parking - If you have a domain, you could be earning potential money from it. This is one of the easiest ways to make money online! If you have a domain simply join a site such as Sedo, Parked or Fabulous, park your domain, point your DNS settings at your registrar to the parking site, send visitors and voila that’s it. Of course you can’t tell people to do searches on your site, or tell them to click links but you can earn good money from this! See, ads or “feeds” are placed on the domain with feeds from sites like Google and Yahoo. When people do searches on your site google pays the domain company and the domain company pays you a certain percentage of that money. Pretty easy. Check out Parked, they are THE best!

Freelance - This is pretty simple. If you can provide a service to someone, you can sell it online. Have it be designing websites, web hosting, domain registering, article writing, SEO, SEM, etc. If you know how to do something that will benefit someone else, you can easily make money off of this simply check out forums that have Marketplaces or Service sections, and try sites like e-lance or scriptlance. If you’re good enough and people like your service you could make this a full-time business!

As long as you know I’m not saying ALL cash gifting sites are legit, or ALL cash generators are legit, chances are they aren’t. Your best bet regarding giving money to someone is to check out some of the search engines for reviews on these sites, but also remember to have common sense. If you find a site and there are 1500 people online saying its legit, it works, it helped them succeed, and then you see a small handful of people that are totally talking bad about the company, really, who do you think is legit? Most likely the handful of people talking crap, were the people that either did something against terms and got deleted, or they didn’t do what the program told them to do and in turn failed! I think by now, in the year 2008, just about everyone wishes they could work from home. Even though most people would just jump right into this, a lot of them simply don’t know what type of business they could offer. This is what I’m here for! All these “options” listed below are really incredibly ways to make money with your website or blog. All of these ways are completely free, and really shouldn’t ever cost you anything. Now, you won’t make your millions doing this, but you could just as well make enough money to live and then some, and right now with the way the economy is, this is great news for you!

CPM Programs- Most likely if you have a blog or website you will be putting CPM banners or CPM links on your site. CPM= Cost Per Thousand. If you put CPM banners or links on your site you will get paid a certain amount of money every time someone views that banner, or rather every 1000 times someone views that banner. Example if a site offers to pay you $1.50 CPM and you have 5000 visits, then you will make $7.50. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but you can have multiple program CPM banners on your sites. And, you can usually have one banner per page per CPM program on your site. So, it gets a little better when you raise the numbers from 5000 to 50,000 = $75. Sometimes you will also get paid if people CLICK on these banners/links too. It depends on the program.

Affiliate Links / Affiliate Programs- Having a blog or website is a good way to incorporate your affiliate programs/links into the content/layout of your website or blog. Example, I am an affiliate for Amazon. My main website is about food and drink. So far, I have made 3 types of sites from Amazon, all of which are for cook books. So, if I’m talking about a Chef I like, say Jamie Oliver, I can then hyperlink the word “Jamie Oliver”, so when people click that link they will be directed to the site from Amazon I made about Jamie Oliver which include all his cookbooks. This is also a form of marketing!

Product Blogs- This is similar to that above but instead of writing about the company for a site like BlogVertise or PayPerPost, you write about a certain product from this company. I did one last month for a company that wanted me to write about their unique and luxurious gift baskets. It had to be 4 paragraphs, had to include certain keywords, include 1 link to the product per paragraph. I mean its fun and easy, why wouldn’t you do this!?!

AdSense and sites similar- This is the last one! This is another way you can make money online through your website. Sites like AdSense, bidvertiser, and adbrite will allow you to put contextual “ads” on your sites. When people click these ads you will be given a certain amount of money per click. Once you build up enough money on your account they will send you a check, money through Pay Pal or allow you take make an EFT (electronic funds transfer) to your bank.

If you work all the options above, I mean really work at it, you just might be able to start working from home full-time like millions of other people across the world! If your scared of risk, that’s fine. I think everyone has thought about the risks of quitting their day job and working from home. If you want, you could just do this part-time for right now just to see if you would be successful at it. Its pretty easy to tell if you’re going to be successful or not, regarding these things. If you see that you’re going to be successful and would at least like a foundation, you could use the above options together, and then get started with something else. Here’s a little tip, don’t stick with just one thing, always have a backup where cash is coming in, you never know what things may happen. Better to be safe than sorry!
