What to Look for in a Money Making Program

Ryan-MoranAffiliate Programs

These days there are a lot of people looking at internet marketing as a way to make money online. Some want to quit their day jobs, some need to get out of debt, some are single moms, some are falling short on their pension, some caring for elderly parents. Affiliate marketing, where an affiliate sends customers to a merchant website and then gets commission on any sales, is a good option for an online business as there are virtually no start-up costs. But it’s not easy to succeed on your own. To become a successful marketer you need a good program.

Many programs offer short-cuts to online wealth but either do not work at all or give only partial information so anyone who buys into them is left floundering. To avoid falling into this trap would-be wealthy affiliates should check out the claims made by any program very carefully.

The sales page of any program often holds some important clues. Beware of sales pages promising overnight riches and devoting lots of space to the houses, yachts and cars you may be able to have if you sign up to their scheme, without properly explaining the package on offer. What you should look for are calm professional sales pages without the screaming headlines and yellow highlights. If the sales page warns that becoming successful is perfectly possible but requires hard work then you will know that you are in the real world and not being served up false promises.

Both good and bad programs provide testimonials from third parties as part of their sales pitch, but do check the quality of these testimonials. A good money making program should have plenty of testimonials containing information in some depth about the value of the scheme and how it has helped that particular individual. A bad program will just have some very superficial comments from people who may just be the friends and family of the product owner. If you read carefully you will be able to tell the difference.

In the same way, a good program should be able to give you some real examples of members’ success, with actual figures, so you know you are not having the wool pulled over your eyes. For example they might give you a glimpse of a page in their private forum where a member actually documents the financial returns he has gained from implementing that particular wealthy affiliate money-making program.

A really good affiliate money-making program should provide the following at the very least:
basic training in all aspects of affiliate marketing, including free and paid methods, a lively private, forum comprising newbies and veteran marketers, tools and resources to help with market and, keyword research, personal coaching from experts if you need it, help with website building, and its own well-run affiliate program to allow you to cover costs by recruiting new members.

If you follow this advice then you should be able to find the money making program that will help you to achieve your goals.

While many programs exist, only a few meet this criteria. If you are looking for a money making program, it is suggested that you read this Wealthy Affiliate Review.

Seven Rules of Affiliate Marketing

Ryan-MoranAffiliate Programs

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online. In essence, it involves one person (the affiliate) driving customers to the website of another (the merchant) and earning commission on resulting sales.

As a business model it has a lot of advantages. You do not need a product, you do not have to bother with taking payments, you do not have to worry about packing and shipping and you do not have to deal with customer complaints. But if you are to succeed, there are golden rules the new marketer must obey. Here are seven of them.

1. Make plans and follow them
Working at home, on your own, it is all too easy to lose focus. Set yourself daily, weekly and monthly targets and stick to them. Check yourself constantly against these targets and do not allow them to slip. The targets should include both the amount of money you realistically aim to make and the actions you will take to earn it.

2. Make sure you pre-sell - not sell
On your website, blog or lens make sure you are pre-selling and not selling to visitors. New affiliates often make the mistake of trying to sell their sponsors products instead of getting the click through to the merchant page. The job of an affiliate is to pre-sell in such a way that potential customers are ready for the vendor sales page and prone to buy.

3. Build a list
Quite early in your affiliate career you must subscribe to an auto responder to capture email addresses and build a list of prospects. If you do not do this you will miss out on the opportunity to make real money as an affiliate. Without a list you are doing is promoting your sponsors business when you could be creating your own.

4. Understand your customer
When starting a campaign spend time getting to know your customers, for example by visiting the forums where they are likely to hang out. Find out what their problems are so that you can offer them a neat solution.

5. Test your campaigns
Before you go to all the expense of building your own website, test your campaigns to see if they are profitable. You can do this for free by making a Squidoo lens or Hubpage and driving traffic through linked articles. Or if you have some cash you can use direct linking through pay-per-click advertising.

6. Monitor your progress
When you try out different strategies, make a note of what you have done and make sure you monitor the effectiveness of the different techniques you try. It is a good idea to always have pen and paper handy.

7. Do not rush after the next big thing.
Never a day goes by without a marketing guru coming up with another get-rich-quick scheme. These are tempting but you must resist otherwise you will have a hard drive full of useless eBooks you will never read. Instead join a program that will give you ongoing affiliate education and the chance to interact with more experienced marketers.

If affiliate marketing is a new concept for you, then getting training is a route that you should consider. To read about the best affiliate marketing training, it is recommended that you read the Wealthy Affiliate Review.

How to Become an Affiliate Marketing Superstar

ojustusAffiliate Programs

Affiliate marketing essentially drives traffic from one website to another, and the website owner gets credit for the traffic. Imagine the possibilities. You can make money while you are eating, sleeping and driving in your car. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, people will be clicking on your affiliate links, which will make you money all day, every day.

Keep in mind, a partnership like affiliate marketing will share profits with the group, but it will also split the expenses. Affiliate marketing programs are joint ventures. Approximately eighty percent of affiliate marketing programs use CPS, or cost per sale compensation. Another nineteen percent have CPA, or cost per action payouts. That means only one percent of programs, uses CPC, also know as cost per click, compensation. Know what kind of affiliate program you’re getting involved with before you sign up. It is clear that the vast majority of affiliate websites require more than just clicks or visits. This is why it is best to pre-qualify the interests of your referrals. It increases their chance of conversion. If you send people over to affiliate sites that are targeted to their interests, you’re going to have better luck, plain and simple.

Another great way to make money with affiliate marketing is to look for a multi-tier structure. Then, not only do you get credit for your referrals, you will also get credit for the referrals of other affiliates you have brought on board. Each time you convince someone else to join the affiliate network, you will get partial credit for all of their referrals as well as your own. It’s kind of like a pyramid plan, but without the negative stigma of Amway.

With affiliate marketing, you can either host your own program or join another company’s affiliate program. Since affiliate marketing often requires a lot of time and money to start up on your own, it is often cost-effective to sign on with a company that specializes in the field. Be sure to carefully select an affiliate program that will address your company’s special needs and interests, as good affiliate programs can be hard to find.

Always remember to consider the return on investment you are likely to see. Don’t look at the absolute top earner within an affiliate program and assume your earnings will be similar. Also keep a watchful eye at the length of commitment the program wants from you. Are you comfortable with signing up with a new program for a whole year, or would you prefer to test it out first? Keep in mind, it will take time to generate results. But, don’t get in over your head with a really long commitment before you’re ready.

If you do it right, affiliate marketing will take your sales to the next level. Just be sure you pick the program that’s right for you!

Is It Really Possible To Make Money Without A Website?

BullhunterAffiliate Programs

This is a common question which continually comes up in internet circles. The people who have websites that are bringing in plenty of cash would be forgiven for believing their whole business would collapse without it.

But there are plenty of internet marketers out there who are raking in the money without as much as a thought for getting a website of their own. According to them, they simply don’t need one.

So who are these people?

They are affiliates, and they are proving every single day that you can make money (and rather a lot of it, if you’re doing the right things) without a website of your own.

If you think about this logically you’ll see why they’re right. When you become an affiliate for a product, you’ll get your own unique referral link which directs people to the sales page. People often cloak their referral links to ensure that people don’t just bypass it and enter the main site without it, thus denying them their referral or affiliate commission.

It’s a fairly easy process to write a number of articles about various aspects which relate to the product being promoted, without mentioning it by name. Then at the end of the article, you simply provide your cloaked link in the resource box, together with some gentle (or not so gentle) encouragement to click on that link for further information.

If the articles are good and they contain enough keywords to be found regularly in search engine results, then you can expect to funnel a lot of traffic through your affiliate link and start making some sales.

Now imagine having more than one affiliate product, and putting in the effort to write a few articles each and every day to direct traffic towards each one. Over time the cumulative effect of these articles - together with the number of programs you are promoting - will turn the initial trickle of affiliate payments into a river. With continued effort there is no reason to suppose you couldn’t become one of the affiliates mentioned earlier - the ones who turn that river into a flood.

As you can see it would appear that the affiliates are right - you don’t need to have a website of your own to make a killing online. However it can be of additional benefit to have one built at some stage.

The benefit of having your own site is clear if you have a number of affiliate products which are in the same niche category. If you set up a website and fill it with valuable and useful content, as well as adding your affiliate products to it, you can enjoy an extra stream of traffic to your website - and thus build more sales from this.

When you are searching for locations to post your web video, you will want to ensure that they have enough daily traffic to give your video a chance to shine. Of course, there are plenty of websites that will allow you to have this exposure, they key is putting your video on the right sites.

This site is YouTube, and it is quickly becoming one of the top sites for individuals to be entertained, informed and enlightened. With the ability for literally anyone to post a video, you are able to show the world what you have to say.

Another website that is quickly becoming popular in posting videos is MySpace. The reason why videos do so well on this website is because it allows you to watch videos and then instantly show your friends, because MySpace is more than a video hosting site, it is an extremely popular social networking site.

Thus, if your video truly sheds light on a particular subject, or is very helpful, it won’t be long until your video makes its rounds throughout thousands of friend’s lists.
